Modes of Optical Maser Cavities with Roof-Top and Corner-Cube Reflectors

Abstract

This paper describes some of the unique properties of Fabry–Perot cavities formed with roof-top and corner-cube reflectors and compares them with cavities formed with plane-parallel reflectors. Only simple geometrical and analytical considerations are used. The results have application in laser system design.
