A Method for Performing the Analog Fourier Transform for Interference Modulation Spectroscopy

Abstract

A mathematical treatment of a general analog Fourier transform method for spectrometers, based on the interference modulation technique is given. This method guarantees the independence of the observed spectrum from asymmetries in the course of the path difference with respect to the white light position of the interferometer used.
