Measurement of angular velocity using speckle photography

Abstract

A new speckle photographic technique to find the angular velocity of rotating diffuse objects has been proposed. This technique employs a simple experimental setup and minimum theory. Also, this equipment sets an upper limit for the in-plane rotational speckle correlation.
