Simple method for checking the beam path in reflective Fourier-transform infrared optics

Abstract

A simple method is described that yields, in reflective optics as well as in Fourier-transform infrared spectrometers, a beam of bright visible light coincident with the invisible infrared beam so that foci and beam locations can be checked easily.
