Abstract
A comparison between the computed phase sensitivities of the output intensities of an S-shaped two-coupler fiber-ring resonator and a two-coupler single-fiber-ring resonator, as well as a single-coupler single-fiber-ring resonator have been made. It is found that under certain conditions the phase sensitivities of the reflected and the transmitted output intensities of the S-shaped two-coupler fiber-ring resonator are the largest.
