Modeling Soft Contact Lenses in Raytrace Code

Abstract

The surface interferogram feature of raytrace codes is used to model the optical performance of soft contact lenses, especially in situations where the lens is decentered. The contact lens is totally defined by a thickness data file, which can easily he shifted relative to the corneal vertex of a schematic eye model.
