Some Accessories for Making Color Measurements with the Cary 14 Spectrophotometer

Not Accessible

Abstract

The following paper describes a group of accessories used to make spectral reflectance measurements with the Cary 14 spectrophotometer. The basic accessory employs a 25-cm diam integrating sphere with provisions for sample illumination with either monochromatic or nondispersed radiation. Total diffuse reflectance measurements as a function of incident angle for solid samples are also possible. The on-line connection of a digital computer, suitably programmed for tristimulus and color difference computations, is also discussed, as well as the performance available from such a system.
