Image reconstruction using a coded aperture snapshot spectral imaging system. A pair of balls, shown in an RGB snapshot, produces a coded CCD data image on dispersion through a coded aperture. Wavelet inference is used to transform the coded frame into 28 spectral image planes. For details, see the paper by Wagadarikar et al. pp. B44-B51.
