Abstract

An infrared solution method for the determination of the propylene content of ethylene-propylene copolymers is described using carbon tetrachloride as a solvent and hydrogenated polyisoprene for calibration. Precision data are presented and the results are compared to those obtained by a newly developed nmr method.
