Integration and "Matched Window" Signal Noise Enhancement of Weak Spectral Peaks

Not Accessible

Abstract

When measuring weak spectral peaks, the signal/noise ratio can be increased by using all the information in the band rather than only its peak amplitude (even if the latter is the only one to emerge from the noise). Ideally, the entire spectral region in which no other spectral feature becomes appreciable could be so used.
