Abstract
As Raman spectroscopy is applied to a growing variety of sample types, the need for cells which are easily used continues. Novel designs for thermostatted liquid and rotating vacuum cells for Raman spectroscopy and a versatile vacuum cell for infrared spectroscopy have appeared. For Raman spectroelectrochemical studies, a cell which is easily filled, cleaned, and aligned is desirable. Similarly, a cell that permits flowthrough observation of discrete liquid samples without realignment is needed. The lack of such capabilities led directly to the design of the cells described below.
