Mass Spectral Confirmation of Ochratoxin A

Abstract

The ochratoxins are toxic metabolites produced by fungi of the genera <i>Aspergillus</i> and <i>Penicillium.</i> Ochratoxin A (primarily a nephrotoxin) is the most potent of these toxins and is frequently found as a contaminant in agricultural commodities.
