Abstract
Inverse Raman spectra are obtained at 1 cm−1 resolution at scan rates of 330 cm−1/min with good signal/noise ratio. Scan rates are limited by grating rotation speed of the dye laser. It is proposed that a dye laser designed for rapid tuning would allow scan rates above 1000 cm−1/min with no loss of resolution or signal/noise ratio.
