Abstract

Methods for preparing alkali halide pellets of compounds deuterated at active hydrogen sites were investigated and the basic underlying problems were identified. As a result, a simple technique suitable for routine laboratory use has been developed for pelletizing deuterated compounds of this type for infrared spectrometry.
