Abstract
In the Fall of 1950, a subcommittee of the Technical Committee of the Society for Applied Spectroscopy was formed on infrared. This committee considered what contribution infrared might make to the field of applied spectroscopy and decided to compile a catalog of the spectra of the important plasticizers used in the rubber and plastics trade, and to indicate how this spectra catalog could be used in the identification of plasticizers.
