Abstract

We present experimental results on magnification dependent power penalty studied with a novel resonator-based time-stretch analog-to-digital converter. Exploiting the potential of variable magnification inherent to the resonator-based concept the dispersion penalty dependency on dispersion length and magnification factor is measured and compared to numerical calculations.
