A Note on the “Speed” of Photographic Emulsions

Abstract

The H & D system of measuring the sensitiveness of photographic materials has been altered in recent years so that different characteristics of the emulsion now have the same name. It is recommended that the procedure in describing emulsion characteristics be clearly indicated.
