Fabrication of Boric Acid Glass for Luminescence Studies

Abstract

An extrusion process is described, permitting the fabrication of boric acid glass into strips having dimensions on the order of 10 cm×1 cm×0.3 mm. The applications of such material in optical studies of complex organic molecules are outlined.
