Notes on the Multiple Source Schlieren System

Abstract

The effect of diffraction by the negative grid, the problem of the formation of a shadow of the negative grid on the viewing screen, and the manufacture of grids are treated briefly. A brief note on mechanical design is included. Five references are cited.
