Not Accessible

Your library or personal account may give you access

Abstract

Maximum brightness of approximately 40 million candles/cm2 with 0.25 μsec half-width or shorter is obtained in a capacitor-discharge with open air gap in which a toroidal capacitor surrounds the gap coaxially. A method for absolute brightness measurement is described.
