Abstract
An inexpensive f/6 Littrow spectrograph has been constructed from a plane grating and aerial camera lens. It has a free spectral range of 4000–7000 A on 9 in. of 35-mm film, a reciprocal dispersion of 13 A/mm, and a resolving power (at 5200 A) of 5200.
