Abstract

A formula for color discrimination data is based on a green primary at x=−2.6, y=3.6, a red primary at the end of the spectrum locus and a blue primary at x=0.1634, y=0. The formula is modeled on the Müller theory; several adjustable parameters are evaluated from data on precision of color matching and from various color-tolerance data, including the official Dutch flag colors. Representative values are recommended for various conditions and purposes.
