Abstract
The positions of the neutral points of the skylight are computed for the model of a Rayleigh atmosphere and a smooth water surface that reflects light specularly according to the Fresnel law. The Babinet and Brewster points disappear from the principal plane. They appear within a few degrees below the almucantar near the direction of the sun. The Arago point does not disappear from the principal plane but is shifted closer to the horizon.
