Autoionized Lines in Arc Spectra of Lead and Bismuth

Not Accessible

Abstract

Autoionized lines were observed in arc spectra of lead and bismuth. Levels previously known from absorption measurements were confirmed, but some lines remain unidentified. The widths and intensities of the lines were measured, and the variation of intensity referred to the intensity of a discrete line was found to vary linearly with pressure.
