Radiative-lifetime measurements of levels in the 5p4 6p configuration of singly ionized xenon

Abstract

Radiative lifetimes were measured for six levels that constitute the upper states of the more-important cw xenon-ion laser transitions. The values ranged from about 7 to 10 ns and were determined within limiting errors of about 5%.
