Abstract
The influence of off-foveal retinal blur on dynamic accommodative convergence is evaluated using a unique stimulus device which eliminated foveal accommodative stimulation. Three of four subjects tested show a significant convergence response to off-foveal accommodative stimulation with response amplitudes dependent on image distance from the fovea.
