Abstract

Diffraction of plane electromagnetic waves by a planar array of perfectly conducting strips is analyzed by a simple numerical technique based on mode expansion and minimization of error in the field values at the boundary. Results are compared with other numerical results available in the literature in order to demonstrate the versatility and the accuracy of the proposed technique.
