Abstract
A dynamic derivation of the generalized K density is presented that describes the amplitude of the radiation scattered by a fluctuating number of objects. The generalized K density is obtained here as the probability density of a non-Markovian stochastic process. The intrinsic dynamics that governs the radiation field is explicitly constructed in the form of the random stopping of a highly nonlinear scalar diffusion process.
