Designing illumination lenses and mirrors by the numerical solution of Monge–Ampère equations: publisher’s note

Abstract

Production errors in the published version of J. Opt. Soc. Am. A 32, 2227 (2015) [CrossRef]   are reported in this note. The errors involve the rendering and content of the mathematics and some of the references and their citations.

In several instances throughout Ref. [1], additional symbols were introduced in error during the production process, for example in the second line of Eq. (8). Also, there were alignment issues with base mathematical characters and symbols above them. In certain references publisher and author names have been corrected, along with missing closing brackets.

These issues are addressed in the online version of the article corrected 23 November 2015.
