Noise analysis of two-beam coupling in a photorefractive material

Abstract

We use a perturbative technique to investigate the output intensity signal-to-noise ratio during two-beam coupling in a photorefractive material in the presence of thermal noise. This procedure may readily be applied to different sources of noise in the material.
