Abstract
Iron-doped composite thin films were fabricated by pulsed-laser deposition from pure metallic Fe and ceramic targets. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy was used to check the Fe chemical bond state for the deposited films. Optical absorption spectra showed resonancelike spectral peaks around 380 nm and 500 nm. The nonlinear optical properties of the films were determined with the Z-scan method at a wavelength of 532 nm with a laser duration of 10 ns.
