Abstract
In this article, a scheme for cooling a nanomechanical resonator (NMR) by a double quantum dot system with an extra driving field attached to ferromagnetic leads is proposed. It shows that, for the combination of ferromagnetic leads, it can reach a much lower temperature than that with normal leads. It also reveals that the current noise plays a vital role in the cooling and also supplies theoretically a method to detect the cooling level of the NMR.
