Additive-pulse mode-locked NaCl:OHlaser

Abstract

The operation of an additive-pulse mode-locked NaCl:OH color-center laser is described. Stable output pulses as short as 75 fsec have been obtained. The laser is tunable from 1.51 to 1.65 μm, with 300 mW of average output power at 1.6 μm.
