Abstract

A miniature monolithic diode-pumped temperature-tunable Nd3+:YAlO3 laser can be set anywhere within its 1-nm tuning range with a long-term stability of 1 pm by using an optogalvanic signal from the 1341.1686-nm 5s–3p transition in helium and the measured temperature tuning rate of the laser.
