Ring self-pumped phase conjugator using total internal reflection in photorefractive strontium barium niobate

Abstract

We report the design and operation of a photorefractive ring self-pumped phase conjugator using total internal reflection in strontium barium niobate. Phase-conjugate reflectivity and fidelity are measured and compared with those of the conventional total-internal-reflection phase conjugator.
