Abstract

A scheme is described for high-speed encoding, processing, and decoding (display) of time-varying imagery. The operations, based on a conversion of space coordinates to temporal frequencies, are fully parallel, all picture elements being treated simultaneously. Basic characteristics of the scheme are presented, along with results of preliminary encoding experiments.
