Abstract
We consider a metallic single-walled carbon nanotube under the influence of the combination of laser and static magnetic fields. We study the nonlinear motion of π electrons in metallic carbon nanotubes driven by external fields, and the induced current spectrum has been analyzed. High-harmonic generation in the presence of a transverse magnetic field is studied theoretically. Numerical calculations show that the plateau is extended to higher harmonics owing to the presence of magnetic field.
