Abstract
We provide a correction to a previously published Letter [Opt. Lett. 37, 4633 (2012)].

We have received a communication regarding our recent Letter [1] pointing out that a higher picosecond high average power result of 370 W has been obtained with a room temperature device operating at 515 nm [2]. We, and apparently the reviewers of our Letter, were unaware of this Letter when our manuscript was submitted to Optics Express, and we therefore withdraw our claim that “To the best of our knowledge, this is the highest average power picosecond green pulsed laser” and replace the claim with “To the best of our knowledge, this is the highest average power cryogenic picosecond green pulsed laser.”
