Fully stabilized 750-MHz Yb: fiber frequency comb: erratum

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

A statement error was produced in the text introducing the previous literatures in [Opt. Express 25, 11910 (2017) [CrossRef]  ]. Here, we correct this error and clarify that this is only due to the simple editing mistake, not related to the scientific misunderstanding about the referenced literatures. Thus, all the conclusions written in [Opt. Express 25, 11910 (2017) [CrossRef]  ] remain unchanged by this correction.

In the introduction text on page 11911 of Ref [1], the statements regarding the cited Ref. [5] and Ref. [6] in Ref [1]. which are the Ref [2]. and Ref [3]. respectively in this erratum are incorrect. The correct statements are “For example, Endo et al. demonstrated a 15-GHz spacing optical frequency comb based on a Kerr-lens mode-locked Yb:Y2O3 ceramic laser [5]. Additionally, another 10-GHz Er:Yb:glass mode-locked laser was also demonstrated with a quantum dot based semiconductor saturable absorber mirror as the mode-locker [6]. ”
