Characteristics and performance of an intensity-modulated optically pumped magnetometer in comparison to the classical M x magnetometer: Erratum

Abstract

The comparison of various operational modes of optically pumped magnetometers in [V. Schultze et al., Opt. Express 20, 14201 (2012)] used some incorrectly cited data. A corrected table of magnetometer parameters is given.

In Table 2 of our paper [1], a comparison of optically pumped magnetometers working in various operational modes was given. Unfortunately, some data taken from Ref [2]. (regarding the paraffin-coated cells in the upper part of the table) were wrong. Meanwhile they are corrected in Ref [3]. The accordingly revised Table 2 is given below.

All conclusions in the original paper [1] are unaffected by this correction.
