Coherently averaged dual-comb spectroscopy with a low-noise and high-power free-running gigahertz dual-comb laser: erratum

Abstract

This erratum corrects a typographical error in equation (8) of our published paper [Opt. Express 31, 7103 (2023) [CrossRef]  ]. All the calculations used the correct equation, so all the results and conclusions remain unchanged.

1. Introduction

There is a typographical error in equation (8) of our published paper [1]. The corrected version of equation (8) should be:

$$\mathrm{RMS}\left[ \Delta_\tau^{(2)}(g) \right] = \sqrt{ \int_{0}^{\infty} S_{g}(f) \left(2\cos\left(2\pi f\tau\right) - 2\right)^2 df }.$$
Compared to the published version, the coefficient of $S_{g}(f)$ has been squared. All the calculations used the correct form of the equation, so none of the results or conclusions of the paper are impacted by this error.
