Abstract

Despite communications and machining, fiber lasers can be utilized for nonlinear light microscopy. 1.55 μm pulses from an Er-doped-fiber-laser were transformed into 1.2-μm and the practical use of the fiber-optic on nonlinear microscopy was demonstrated.
