Abstract
In an attempt to define the neural sites for the processing of various aspects of wavelength information, a series of psychophysical experiments were carried out in rhesus monkeys before and after making selective lesions in the visual system. Using the color space described by Krauskopf1 we studied chrominance detection and discrimination as well as the effects of neural adaptation on them.
