Abstract
An enhanced MEMS capacitive sensor is developed for photoacoustic gas detection. Without an acoustic cavity, the MEMS exhibits superior performance to bare Quartz-Enhanced Photoacoustic Spectroscopy (QEPAS), a state-of-the-art reference to compact and selective gas sensors.
