Abstract

A convex-concave resonator is employed to develop a high-pulse-energy Nd:YAG/Cr4+:YAG laser. The laser pulse reaches 30 mJ, corresponding to an optical conversion efficiency of 13.2%. The extracavity OPO is further investigated. The OPO energy of 13.3 mJ is efficiently obtained.
