5 nJ, 200 fs, All-fibre Laser Mode-locked with a Nonlinear Amplifying Loop Mirror at 1030 nm

Abstract

We demonstrate an improved configuration of an all-fibre laser that incorporates three separate gain sections. This gives 5 nJ pulses that can be compressed to 200 fs and are suitable as a seed for a high power CPA system.
