Abstract
We demonstrate a 5.8-W, deep-ultraviolet (DUV) laser realized via frequency-quadrupling of an all-fiberized ytterbium-doped fiber laser. The DUV laser has a maximum pulse energy of 3.6 μJ and peak power of 6.9 kW with a 1μm-to-260nm conversion efficiency of 26.4%.
