Semiconductor Q-switched, Short-Pulse, High-Power, MHz-Rate Laser

Abstract

We report a 0.8-5.0 ns-width, 0.1-2 MHz-rate Nd-MOPA laser passively Q-switched with a semiconductor saturable Bragg reflector producing 7.5 W of average power at 532 nm in a diffraction limited beam.
