Abstract

A 295 nm nanosecond source with pulse energy exceeding 30 mJ and beam quality ~1 mm•mrad is demonstrated. A 1064 nm laser pumps an OPO whose signal beam is mixed with the laser’s third harmonic in a compact setup.
