Abstract
We demonstrated that fluorescence imaging with Indocyanine Green marker can be used to measure the volume of the active vasculature in tumor models implanted in nude mice. Tumors expressing the Vascular Growth Factor showed an enhanced fluorescence, while tumors treated with a Vascular Damaging Agent gave a strongly depleted signal, which confirmed an effective vascular shutdown.
